Would definitely be all over this, since it would keep me from having to buy all of the individual Trades. I wish they would come out with a Peter Bagge Buddy/Hate! Omnibus (or a series of Omnis), in chronological order. I tried to keep up with his various comics over the years, but haven't read much of his more recent stuff. The strange, reclusive room-mate that a character/characters had - IIRC the guy's name was George?! This character also rarely left his room, and IIRC slept in a closet?! at one point - in any case - weird, funny, and bizzare. IIRC, this character was in a book called "Junior & other losers." The extremely reclusive guy who never liked going outside, even to shop - he had everything delivered.
Other Bagge characters/storylines that I found hilarious & disturbing (sometimes at the same time): Though all the characters were great, the unkempt, filthy, and repulsive Stinky is one of comicdom's most fully-realized characters, and that's not a complimentĪlso enjoyed the Pacific Northwest "vibe" that permeated a lot of his comics never lived in the area, but I enjoyed my visit to Seattle years ago, and for a while wanted to move there (but never did). I was in my 20's in the '90's, so I'm sure that had something to do with this. I first discovered his comics in the late '90's, when I read the Hey Buddy! collection - hilarious & disgusting, this comic really spoke to me at the time. I consider myself a Peter Bagge/Hate! fan.
